UDECAM, the Union of Media Consulting and Purchasing Companies, today announces the appointment of Magali Florens to the position of General Director. As such, its missions will be the coordination of dialogue between media agencies, the management of files and collective actions, the management of actions relating to public affairs, consultation with players in the advertising market and the association’s authorities.
Since the election of Thomas Jamet as president of UDECAM in July 2022, work has mainly focused on consolidating the foundations of the association, in particular the reinvention of the format of the UDECAM Meetings, the restart of its commissions and also the establishment of new governance with a reinforced team of permanent staff. UDECAM is now entering a new phase: that of the offensive, of leadership. Magali Florens will supervise the initiatives around three main pillars: the defense of the value and interests of the sector, particularly during calls for tenders, the revitalization of the attractiveness of its professions among new generations, and active and committed involvement. of the association on the future challenges of media consulting and buying, such as measurement, social and societal responsibility of media companies (CSR), artificial intelligence (AI), etc.
Magali will work closely with Elodie Courreau, General Delegate of UDECAM, who reports to her.

Magali Florens previously held the position of CEO of Mindshare (WPP) since 2010. Before that, she was CEO of OMD from 2001 to 2010. Arriving at Mediacom in 1991, Magali Florens evolved there for 10 years until the position of Commercial Director.
