A set of rejection banners Anies Baswedan installed in different places in Bondowoso Regency. It was stated on the banner that the creator of the banner was in the name of “United Indonesian Archipelago Warriors”.
National Network Manager (Jarnas) Anies Baswedan Bondowoso’s Haris Humaidi said that the predominantly red and white banner reading “Bondowoso rejects Anies Baswedan, Identity Politics, PA 212, Khilafah, Until Doomsday” was a form of negative campaigning because it had cornered Anies. One of them is to mention identity politics.
“The writing on this banner was posted along the road between the cities of Bondowoso and Dadapan. We found this out during Jaka Polite’s health walk,” Haris said. detikJatimMonday (14/11/2022).
Haris regretted that there was an act that could divide society. Therefore, he hopes there will be further legal proceedings by the police.
“Regarding the installation of banners spreading slander, we hope there will be immediate action by existing law enforcement agencies,” Haris said.
Although Jarnas has not officially reported him, he hopes the police can act quickly. Currently Jarnas is still conducting studies and discussions related to the reasons for placing banners. According to information gathered by Jarnas, the installation of the banners would have taken place at night, before Jaka Polite’s salutation walk on Sunday (11/13).
