In the night from Saturday to Sunday, planetary stars of all stripes participated in a virtual concert whose objective is to raise funds to help in the search for a vaccine against the coronavirus.
Celebrities of song, film, sport and others answered the call of the European Commission and the NGO Global Citizen by giving voice during a virtual concert entitled “Unite for Our Future” (” United for our future ”).
Dwayne Johnson, Shakira, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Bieber and Quavo, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Christine & The Queens, David Beckham, Salma Hayek, Charlize Theron, Forest Whitaker, and the list goes on.
Broadcast on Canal + group channels but also on social networks and digital platforms of the European Commission and the Global Goal Unite site, the concert aimed to raise funds to help scientific research with a view to finding a vaccine against the coronavirus and the make it accessible to all.
The amount collected would have exceeded 10 billion euros.
