Under a electric storm at Lee County in Florida, a man recorded how lightning struck his truck Ford Ranger 2020 while he was driving her.
The dash cam of her new truck recorded the moment she was struck by the lightning bolt causing all electrical systems to shut down. Fortunately, the Floridian, identified as Jack Foraker, did not suffer an accident.
Foraker said the impact occurred as he approached Big Charles Pass in Lee County while driving home to Estero.

“I saw a few people who were already behind as they left the beach. And I thought, those are the kind of people who get hit by lightning because they leave too late and I continued on my way. But rather, they were not the people who are struck by lightning, I was ”, told WINK-TV.
The dash cam in Foraker’s truck recorded the moment the lightning struck her, causing her to turn it off.
“It sounded like a shotgun blast behind my truck. And yes, it was pretty scary. My windshield stopped, I lost my brakes and I couldn’t turn the wheel anymore, ”Foraker said.
Foraker said the ray sent his truck into intensive care, having to leave it 40 days in service for mechanics to try to revive it, but added that he has resigned himself to buying a replacement vehicle.
