Victim of an assault, a sexagenarian discovered in a pool of blood

Police found an unconscious man lying in a pool of blood in rue Desperoux, Roche-Bois, late Thursday afternoon. Guy Joseph François, a 64-year-old local resident, had a deep head wound. He was admitted to Jeetoo Hospital and his condition is considered serious.

According to information gathered from residents of the neighborhood, the retiree was savagely attacked by a man. This is why a group of furious individuals had gathered on the spot. The police arrested the alleged attacker, a 40-year-old resident of the region. The latter, injured in the mouth, was taken to the police station. He was subsequently taken to hospital before being admitted.
