Three people arrested for stealing a chip cart | Inland

An alert local resident called the police in the night from Friday to Saturday because he heard noises in the street. When he looked outside, he saw a car with a trailer behind it. He thought the situation was suspicious. The police discovered on the spot that the chip cart was registered as stolen. The license plates of the car were false and burglar tools were found in another car belonging to one of the suspects.

The suspects are two men aged 32 and 49 and a woman aged 29, all from Roosendaal. They have been arrested on suspicion of theft or receiving stolen goods. The chip cart will be returned to its owner, police said.
