A very large fire has broken out in a company’s warehouse at Kapitein Nemostraat in Tilburg. Smoke development can be seen for miles around. Firefighters are present numerous. A BN alert was also sent.
According to the security region, the fire has already spread to two adjacent buildings, so three buildings are on fire. As far as we know, no people were present and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown. A drone is used to get a good picture of the fires. Water is being pumped from the Wilhelmina Canal to fight the fire.
Police cordoned off the area because several explosions were observed during the fire. “So stay away from there! As interesting as it is, it can be dangerous and could get in the way of emergency services,” police said on Twitter.
The security region requests that doors and windows be closed and the ventilation turned off.
