According to vegetable growers, retail chains have very high margins. The vegetable union therefore tried to find a way to alleviate the situation for vegetable sellers, but also for consumers. Map thus providing a unique way for customers to purchase directly from the grower.
Just look for a place on the map and go there. The greengrocers are adding themselves to the interactive map, and the union hopes that the map will grow as much as possible in the coming months.
“We planned the map of growers about a year ago and gradually gathered the courage and willingness of our growers. The project saw the light of day earlier this year. We are gradually convincing growers to get involved and customers to look into it. We connect the first and last link in the vegetable chain, producer and consumer, “described the head of the media department of the Vegetable Union, Alice Kouřilová.
“We currently have about 30 growers and we hope that more and more of them will join soon. The map is on our website. It is primarily intended for our members from among the growers we work for. Growers will register themselves on our website. They will write crops there, which they want to sell, and if they don’t know how to do it, we will be happy to help them, “added Kouřilová.

Most greengrocers signed up for the interactive map from the vicinity of the Central Bohemian and Ústí nad Labem regions. You can go to the following places for vegetables.
