The fourth generation of the Suzuki Vitara on the market for ten years, having been introduced in 2014, is relaunched with a slight external renewal and an improvement in the technology in the passenger compartment to which a set of aerodynamically shaped alloy wheels is added. Inside, Suzuki has introduced a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment. The system supports USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The suite of driving assistance systems has been enriched

Like all Suzuki models on sale in Europe, the Vitara was already equipped with a very complete suite of Adas systems, but for the updated version the Japanese brand adds new and some improved systems. In more detail, the 2024 Vitara is now equipped with Dual Sensor Brake Support II, the driver monitoring system which provides adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition and lane keeping.

The two engine variants available remain unchanged

The two propulsion options, mild hybrid and full hybrid, remain the same in the 2024 model year. The first includes a 1,400 cc turbo petrol engine rated at 129 hp and combined with the 48 Volt system which adds another 14 hp. The other offers, however, a larger 140 Volt lithium-ion battery. The 1,500 cc naturally aspirated engine has a combined power of 114 hp. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive 4WD are available for both variants.
