The covid passport It emerged on June 1, 2021 with the initial objective of facilitating the mobility of people between the member countries of the European Union; however, it soon became an essential requirement to access closed places and, in some cases, even to work, as is the case in Italy. The covid certificate is a QR code that certifies that the person who possesses it has the complete vaccination schedule, that they have passed the coronavirus or that they have undergone a PCR test with a negative result in the last few hours. All the information related to the vaccination of the holder of that document appears in the passport: date on which the complete guideline was obtained, and even what vaccine was inoculated.
The doubt now arises with the third doses of the vaccine from covidwhich are massively injected into the population as a reinforcement against the virus.
Third doses and covid certificate
The covid passport has expiration. Since the end of the year, the EU determined that the certificate that accredits the vaccination expires nine months after receiving the last vaccination (six months from the last dose received but with a margin of three to be able to be vaccinated in case the antidote has not yet been received).
This does not mean anything other than that, given the need to receive the third dose for optimal protection against the virusit is necessary to be vaccinated with the booster dose to be able to have the covid certificate up to date.

However, this point has not yet been clarified by the European Union.
