Using Russian weapons, Syria drops 10 missiles from 6 Israeli F-16 jets

DAMASCUS – Military Syria knocked out 10 of the 12 missiles fired by six F-16 fighter jets Israel on Wednesday morning (24/11/2021). The military of President Bashar al-Assad’s government uses two Russian-made missile defense systems against Zionist missile attacks.

Deputy head of the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, said the two defense systems used by the Damascus military are Buk-M2E and Pantsir-S.

“From 02.28 to 02.38 am, six Israeli F-16 tactical warplanes from Lebanese airspace struck targets in Syria’s Homs province with twelve guided missiles,” said Skin.

“The air defense forces of the Syrian armed forces destroyed ten missiles with Russian-made systems; Buk-M2E and Pantsir-S,” he said. Sputniknews, Thursday (25/11/2021).

He added that one Syrian soldier was injured in an Israeli air strike.

Israeli strikes have been launched on the ancient city of Homs, with reports indicating that several explosions were heard in the al-Mahatta neighborhood.

A yet-to-be independently verified video recording of the early-morning attack shows glimpses of what are believed to be Israeli missiles entering Syria.

Wednesday’s attack marked the fourth incident reported by Syria so far this November. Israel has carried out several attacks against the regional neighbor since civil war broke out in Syria in 2011.

Meanwhile, the Israeli media; Jerusalem Post, reported four people were killed and seven others injured in Wednesday’s airstrikes.

The report said air strikes targeted Hezbollah-owned sites in Homs in western Syria.
