Another user reported that 5G worked on its S20 Ultra, but that the phone kept switching between 3G and H + connections in locations without 5G coverage.

Yet another user reported that it flashing the previous firmware could solve the problems, in the sense that 4G + is possible again, with the corresponding significantly higher download speeds. This was done by manually downloading the firmware and extracting the files via the Odin program. This is Samsung’s internal program for loading updates, for testing purposes, for example, but Odin can also be used by users. Considering Samsung’s statement, this manual solution shouldn’t be necessary anymore. A KPN user seems to be at Gathering of Tweakers to confirm that 4G works again on his Galaxy S20, although he reports that he does not yet have 5G and that the speed at 4G seems to be disappointing.
