Matthew McConaughey – The father died during sex

When James Donald McConaughey died, it happened under somewhat unusual circumstances, according to his son, Matthew McConaughey.

The actor is in the process of publishing a memoir, a collection of stories from his life. An excerpt of the memoir has been published by People Magazine, and this is where he tells about when he was first told that his father had passed away.

Would die during sex

In 1992, McConaughey received a phone call from her mother telling her that her father had died.

– My legs could not hold me anymore. I could not believe it. He was my dad. No one and nothing should be able to take his life. Except mom, he writes.

– He always said to me and my brothers: “Boys, the day I die, it will be while I love with their mother.” And that was exactly what happened. He had a heart attack while having an orgasm.

Married several times

McConaughey further tells People that his parents had an on-and-off relationship, and that the relationship was violent at times.

– I write in the book that it was a way for them to communicate. They divorced twice and were married three times, so yes, it was like the Pacific Ocean during a storm at times.

Earlier this year, the actor tried to splice his mother with the father of Hugh Grant, who is a widower. The two actors must, according to Insider, have set up a date between their parents.

Dying while having sex is very rare, according to a study from American Heart Association.
