To reveal it is the American site Tmz, one of the most reliable in terms of gossip: Harry and his wife Meghan Markle they would then have learned of the disappearance of Filippo in full death, and it would not be Prince William or Charles to warn them.
The Duke of Edinburgh passed away on April 9 at the age of 99: the official announcement from the royal family arrived in the late morning, when it was still night in the United States. According to the rumors gathered by Tmz, it is unclear if Meghan and her husband’s cell phones were turned off or silencedbut it is certain that a diplomat from the British Embassy in Washington would have tried to contact Harry several times on the phone when it was about three in the morning. Failing to track him down, then the diplomat would turn to the LAPD, who would send a patrol to the Santa Barbara mansion.
All this because, despite the divisions that appear increasingly unbridgeable, the royal family didn’t want Harry to find out about his grandfather’s death in the press: after hearing the news, the prince flew to Great Britain to attend the funeral, which however was not an opportunity to make peace or at least lay the foundations for a rapprochement.
