A 14-year-old minor was the victim of a violent robbery inside a subway station in the Bronx and now authorities are looking for the suspect.
According to the New York City Police report, the incident occurred on November 13, at about 3:15 pm, inside the Castle Hill subway station. The 14-year-old was near the stairs of the subway platform when the suspect approached him, hit him several times and stole the cell phone from his pocket, police added.
Paramedics treated the victim for minor injuries at the scene.
The alleged thief was last seen wearing light-colored clothing, a black vest, white and gray sneakers, and a black mask.
