Russia wants to turn Kherson into a “city of death”. This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the Ukrainian president, reports Reuters.
He accused the Russian forces of pulling out everything from apartments to sewers. According to him, Moscow intends to bomb the southern Ukrainian city on the other side of the Dnieper River.

His statement comes the day after the Russian defense minister Sergei Shoigu ordered for the Russian forces to withdraw from the western bank of the Dnieper River and occupy the defensive position on the opposite bank.
