Gas injection into UGS facilities is very slow this year

Since the start of the injection season, gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities have grown by only 5%.
Gas reserves in Ukraine exceeded 16 billion cubic meters. m, according to the data of Ukrtransgaz.
After the end of the heating season at the end of April, gas reserves increased by only 748.7 million cubic meters. m (by 4.9%) – up to 16.039 billion cubic meters. m.
Average daily injection in June amounted to 18.9 million cubic meters. m, which is 1.7 times more than in May (11.3 million cubic meters).
Recall that in the autumn-winter period 2020-2021 Ukraine has burned a record volume of gas in seven years – 13.2 billion cubic meters. The gas sampling season turned out to be one of the longest.
At the same time, the heating season began with record gas reserves of almost 28.5 billion cubic meters.
This year the government decided save up for the heating season at least 17 billion cubic meters of gas.
