Ukraine does not agree to “minimum requirements” – Lavrov

Lavrov made another statement regarding the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

Lavrov said that Poland offers NATO to send a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine in order to take control of the western part of the country.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov today made a number of statements on Ukraine, relations with the West and with China. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to him, the war in Ukraine should end with “a comprehensive agreement on the neutral status of Ukraine with security guarantees for it.”

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also said that Ukraine does not agree to Russia’s “minimum requirements” during the negotiations and blamed the Americans for this.

“The United States is ‘holding the hand’ of the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with Russia, not allowing Kiev to agree even to the minimum demands put forward by Moscow,” the Russian Foreign Minister said.

In addition, he noted that Poland offers NATO to send a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine in order to take control of the western part of the country.

According to him, Russia will not make any attempts to improve relations with the West, and the West should decide for itself “how to get out of the impasse.”

Lavrov also said he believes the sanctions will bring Russia and China together.

Lavrov has previously stated that Russia intends to abandon dependence on the West in the economic sphere and intends to overcome the difficulties caused by large-scale sanctions in the future.

Lavrov said that Russia did not attack Ukraine
