NEW YORK – A two-year-old girl lost her life after being hit by a car in Queens, the New York City Police announced.
According to the authorities’ preliminary investigation, the girl, who was identified as Leilani Rosales, was with her mother in the back of the car, a 2021 Nissan Rogue, removing packages from it. This in a residence located at 38-12 216 street.
At that time, police said, the minor had walked to the front of the vehicle when the driver, a 23-year-old man, began to drive and ran over her.
Rosales was transported to Flushing Hospital with severe head trauma and was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests as of yet and the investigation is under the New York City Police Collision Investigation Team.
