As Ana Laura Jaramillo and Alhelí Mendoza Pérez, the two young women found guilty and sentenced to 43 years in prison for the murder of a man, who apparently had a romantic relationship with both, were identified.
According to the authorities, on April 2, 2018, the two women were traveling aboard a vehicle. Another man on a motorcycle followed them on a motorcycle. The group was after the victim with the intention of ending his life.
When locating him, on public roads, the man on the motorcycle stabbed him and also shot him.
“It can be determined that the motive for the crime was passionate, since both women maintained a romantic relationship with the victim,” explained the Mexican Prosecutor’s Office, about the events that occurred in the municipality of Nextlalpan.
In addition to more than 40 years in prison, they must pay a fine that adds about 50 million Colombian pesos to the relatives of the deceased.
