Two sisters murdered in the Villa Mayor neighborhood, in Bogotá – Bogotá


The authorities are offering a reward of up to 10 million pesos for those who give information that allows clarifying the double homicide that, everything indicates, occurred on the night of Monday, August 24, in a house in the Villa Mayor la Nueva neighborhood, in the town of Rafael Uribe Uribe, in the south of Bogota.

Apparently, the grandfather of these young women arrived at the house on Tuesday night and found his granddaughters, aged 18 and 21, dead in one of the rooms. They had wounds with knives, and the apartment, located at diagonal 40 south with Carrera 33, was completely messy.

Men of the Bogota Police They came to the place to verify what happened and to begin to carry out the first investigation to determine who were responsible for these murders.

Neighbors of the victims stated that they did not see anything strange, nor people removing items from the house. However, authorities found the sisters’ belongings rolled and in disorder.

One of the main hypotheses that is handled is that it would be a robbery. However, it will be the authorities that will have to investigate in depth about this new act of violence that mourns the city.

“It is investigated from the first moment, a Judicial Police team with a prosecutor is established, investigative work begins, a technical component that allows us to establish cameras, or possible motives and circumstances that led to this fact”, said Colonel Necton Lincon Borja, operational commander of the Bogotá Police.
