Two bicycle thieves caught red-handed

Darmstadt (ots) – Because two men on Thursday evening (June 25th) were obviously working on parked bicycles at the “Platz der Deutschen Einheit”, attentive witnesses alarmed the police.

Caught red-handed, a patrol of the 2nd police station in Darmstadt could find and arrest the two suspects. According to the current state of knowledge, the two detainees, a 29 and a 34 year old, were said to have been under the influence of intoxicating agents. The two men then had to accompany the law enforcement officers to the police station, where they had to spend the rest of the night in police custody.

A complaint was filed against both. You will now have to answer in criminal proceedings for suspected attempted bicycle theft.
