Twitter has hidden a tweet from US President Donald Trump and provided a disclaimer. According to the social medium, the tweet violates the rules regarding glorifying violence. “When the looting starts, the shooting begins,” Trump wrote of the protests in the city of Minneapolis.
Trump’s tweet can now only be read after clicking the disclaimer. It is no longer possible to like or comment on the tweet.
Twitter writes that it has taken action “to prevent others from being inspired to commit violent acts”.
For four days in a row, thousands of protesters have taken to the streets of Minneapolis to express their anger at the death of unarmed African American George Floyd, who died on his arrest. The protests continue to grow brighter.

Conflict between Trump and Twitter
Trump and Twitter have been at odds with Twitter since tweeting two tweets from the president on Wednesday provided of the label for “potentially misleading information”.
In the tweets tagged by Twitter, Trump claimed that voting by post is susceptible to fraud. According to Twitter, these tweets among voters in the United States could cause confusion about what to do to participate in the election process, which is against the platform’s guidelines.
In response to this action, Trump has a decree on Thursday signed weakening or lifting legislation protecting social media companies.
