The verdict against the 33-year-old contract killer is final, as announced by the Freiburg Regional Court on Friday. None of those involved in the process have appealed. The German was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court on March 18 for murder. According to the verdict, he had killed a 24-year-old man with two shots in the head and received 50,000 euros as wages. In the process, he had confessed to shooting. According to the information, he acted on behalf of a 39-year-old Freiburg lawyer.
The crime occurred in a commercial area in Freiburg last July. According to the court, the background was drug and money transactions. The lawyer and mastermind behind the crime kept a large sum of drug deals from the man who was the victim of the murder and commissioned the murder out of greed. The lawyer committed suicide in his cell last November (Az .: 1 Ks 200 Js 24616/19).
