The Acting Director of Health Surveillance and Quarantine of the Ministry of Health, Endang Budi Hastuti, said that the government is currently drafting the regulation to ensure that the government can fully cover medical expenses.
Endang said that the government could fully cover the cost of treating monkeypox because it is an emerging infectious disease or attacks a population.
