Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dermatologist Dr. Saad Al-Talhab, a consultant, revealed the dangers of the Moroccan bath and rubbing the body with a loofah.
He said in a press release at the aesthetic medicine conference: “Rubbing the body with a loofah” and “Moroccan bath” cause skin pigmentation, the treatment of which is “impossible.”
He continued, “Using loofah to scrub the body is a wrong habit, just like Moroccan bath is one of the worst things,” adding that a person may feel that the skin has become clean, but in the long run, we have seen many cases affected from pigmentation, and the treatment takes many years.
