The police have found a dead person after a fire in a house on Sandsøya in Sunnmøre on Thursday.
– The person has not been identified and has been sent for an autopsy to find out what has happened, says police attorney Christina Sve Hagen in the Møre og Romsdal police district to NRK.
It was just before 2pm on Thursday that the police reported the fire on Sandsøya in Sande municipality in Sunnmøre.
There were two people registered at the address, and one person was reported missing following the fire. The other got out of the house.
– The health situation of this person will not be disclosed yet, says Hagen.
The cause of the fire is not known, and the investigation of the fire site will continue for some time to come, the police say.
On Friday, crime technicians and search dogs worked at the scene, writes NRK.
