Three young sisters from Texas were found dead in a pond after disappearing from their home while being cared for by a family friend. A family friend reportedly looked after the three children and their other siblings when their mother, Shommaonique, 28, was at work. Zi’Ariel, A’Miyah and Temari disappeared from their home in Atlanta around 10 pm on Friday. The nanny called 911 to report them missing, and a multi-agency search for the girls subsequently began.

Authorities later received reports that the sisters were found dead in a pond near Highway 77 around 2 a.m. Saturday. Police conducted a search around the pond after finding a pair of shoes and other items of clothing in and near the body of water. “We put clothing around a pond and in a pond,” Texas Ranger Shawn Hervey told KSLA. “So, we focused the search on that small body of water, and with the use of divers we were able to recover three victims at approximately 2 a.m.”

“We have no idea what the girls were doing there,” Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe told the Texarkana Gazette. Investigators have not yet reached a conclusion about her death. The bodies of the three girls have now been sent for autopsies. “No one has been charged with anything,” Rowe added.

Shommaonique, who appears to have another Facebook account, wrote in a post, sharing some photos, “Through this whole process my family helped me through this difficult time with myself and the loss of my sweet babies is so unreal. But I know I have to be strong for the sake of my other 3 babies because they need me more than ever.”
Shommaonique has created a GoFundMe to help the girls with funeral costs and other related expenses. “On July 29, 2022, my three children, Zi’Ariel Robinson Oliver, A’Miyah Hughes and Te’Mari Robinson Oliver went missing around 8 p.m. Their bodies were found side by side at around 2 a.m. “This was so unexpected and a huge pain and shock to me and my family. Now we are asking for help to put my sweet angles to rest. Any donation you can donate will be appreciated,” she wrote on the page. At the time of this writing, $4,528 USD had been raised towards the $25,000 goal.
