In Poland, in the city of Gdansk, a tragedy occurred – a woman in labor and a baby were found dead in an apartment. It turned out that the woman died due to bleeding after childbirth, and the child from a head injury.

Mother and newborn boy were found dead in the apartment. The baby’s body was in the washing machine. Law enforcement officers began to investigate the tragedy and the first data already known.
In particular, an autopsy was scheduled, which showed that the 22-year-old girl died due to bleeding after childbirth. The cause of the child’s death is also now known.
“In the case of a newborn boy, the cause was extensive head injuries,” said Grazyna Wawryniuk, spokeswoman for the Voivodeship Prosecutor’s Office in Gdansk.
She added that investigators are looking into whether infanticide has taken place. The police are also establishing whether there were other people in the apartment at the time of the tragedy. Relatives of a 22-year-old woman in labor said that the girl hid the pregnancy from them.
Recall that on May 16, a mother and a baby were found dead in Gdansk. The child’s body was in the washing machine.
