GOAT are considering their options for their life and career after FC Barcelona, and Neymar really wants PSG to win the race against other teams interested in Messi.
Lionel Messi is the world’s most wanted player. But in fact, only a few teams can afford it. They are Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Inter Miami FC. He still hasn’t made a choice, and he might even decide not to go anywhere and extend his contract with FC Barcelona.
But Neymar wants him so badly to join him at PSG. They are friends and he has a strong desire to play with him again and tear up any competition they play.
So he spoke to a friend of GOAT and together they try to convince Lionel to move to Paris and play under Mauricio Pochettino.
That friend is PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes who also plays with Messi for the Argentina national team and they have a great relationship.
What Paredes did was speak publicly about how he wanted the transfer to happen, which put pressure on him. He also added that he would feel extremely comfortable in France.
Having Pochettino as a manager could tip Messi for the PSG option. Paredes said it was getting easier for him, and Pochettino himself revealed he has a lot in common with the GOAT.
Considering the effort and factors it takes at the Parc des Princes to accommodate the star, this would be the most likely option.
