THE MIND OF THE PEOPLE – Named asteroid 2001 FO32 will reach the closest distance to the earth on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
The giant space rock has been known to be approaching Earth since last week.
Even though tomorrow it will be the closest it will be to Earth, scientists say there is no need for people to panic.
“Everything is stable, nothing is at risk,” said Detlef Koschny, an expert asteroid from the European Space Agency quoted Pikiran-rakyat.com (PR) from Aljazeera on March 20, 2021.

Asteroid 2001 FO32 has a size of 396 to 679 meters according to NASA.
That size, even in the smallest estimate, is equivalent to 3 times the area of a football field.
Asteroid 2001 FO32 which will reach the shortest distance tomorrow will be about 2 million kilometers from the earth.
