Golf pro Tiger Woods thanked his fans and golf colleagues for their support. They had stood by him in a very special way.
The US golf player Tiger Woods spoke up on Twitter for the first time after his serious car accident and thanked him for his support. “It’s hard to explain how touching it was today when I turned on the TV and saw all these red shirts. To all golfers and all fans: You really help me through this difficult time,” wrote the 47-year-old athlete on Sunday afternoon (local time). At golf tournaments on Sunday, numerous players wore a red shirt and black pants – the outfit that Woods always chooses for the last day of a competition.
Woods ran his car off the road last Tuesday and rolled over several times. He was seriously injured and there are known several open fractures on his right leg. Since the accident in Los Angeles there had only been statements from his management.
