Eight people have died from Covid-19 in the past twenty-four hours in Center-Val de Loire in health facilities. This brings to 115 the number of deaths since the start of the epidemic in the region.
In Cher, the virus has made three new victims since Saturday. They are two women aged 83 and 94 and a man aged 83. All lost their lives at the Bourges hospital center.
2,363 positive people in the region
The departmental assessment delivered by the Regional Health Agency therefore now reports 19 deaths in the hospital.
This Sunday evening, 2,363 people are positive for Covid-19 in the region and 222 of them reside in medico-social establishments. The number of deaths in these establishments is now part of the figures communicated by the ARS. In the Cher, there are seven in total.
