Three IS women with children repatriated to Belgium Abroad

The women were previously sentenced to five years in prison in Belgium and are questioned upon arrival and expected to be taken to prison. They were previously imprisoned with the Syrian Kurds, but managed to escape to Turkey last year, where they were acquitted according to their lawyer.

The company would actually return in March, but that was delayed by the corona pandemic. The women were also brought back to Belgium in 2015. After giving birth, they returned to Islamic State terror group in Syria. Their men are said to have fought in Syria and died there.

These are Tatiana Wielandt (27), Bouchra Abouallal (27) and Nadia Baghouri (28). The latter tried to oblige the Belgian government to repatriate it. She takes her four children with her, who may be housed with their grandparents. The four oldest children of Wielandt and Abouallal arrived in Belgium early this year. Their two youngest children travel with their mothers. The juvenile judge determines where the children are cared for.
