Weeks after calling for a change of strategy from the Russian military and criticizing the way the conflict has been handled so far, Kadyrov said: “Everything will be different.”
Kadyrov pointed to the recent bombing by Russian troops of major cities in Ukraine, including the capital, which began on 10 October.
Kiev was attacked early Monday morning, killing at least four people. Russia carried out massive airstrikes on residential areas and energy infrastructure in many Ukrainian regions on Tuesday, including the capital, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Zhytomyr.
It comes after the attack last week, which caused heavy casualties among civilians. Putin said the attack was in response to the 8 October explosion on the strategically vital bridge over the Kerch Strait, even though Kiev has not yet claimed responsibility. The bridge connects mainland Russia with the adjoining Crimean peninsula.

“Ukrainian military commands and energy facilities have been the target of targeted attacks,” Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel.
“We warn the criminal leadership, which has been in Kiev for too long, that we did not take concrete action during (‘special military operations’),” he continued.
“Russia has repeatedly given satanic sects a chance to come to their senses. But we have not been heard or ignored. Now things will be different. Then we will dictate the terms,” continued the Chechen leader, as quoted by Reuters. News weekWednesday (10/19/2022).
Kadyrov last month publicly despised Putin’s army amid a series of successful retaliation attacks by Kiev in southern and northeastern Ukraine. He criticized the Russian defense ministry after Ukrainian forces recaptured Izyum, Kupyansk and Balakleya in the Kharkiv region, which Putin’s forces had seized during the war.
