Threatened to be kicked out of the house after being tricked by his step-grandson

Bandung

Ellen Plaissaer Sjair’s tears fell when she told the bitter incident she was going through. The 80-year-old woman is in danger of being evicted from her home on Jalan Jayagiri, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency (KBB).

What was it that caused Grandma Ellen to lift her legs from the house of her dead husband’s estate? Apparently the actions of the step -grandson are the cause.

IW, Grandmother Ellen’s step-grandson, forged the signature of the power of attorney for the sale of the 3,230 square meter house he still lives in to three buyers with a value of Rp. 2.8 billion in 2014.

Judging from the land plan, the house occupied by Grandma Ellen is on the inside of a fairly large plot of land. His house is also next to the house of IW, the step-grandson whose building is now abandoned.

“Initially it was the BPKB of the vehicle that was lost, then the money which was also quite large, then the house certificate,” said Nene Ellen when met at her home, Friday (1/14/2022).

She said her step-grandson was planning to sell his house after her husband died in 2012. The concern for the retired teacher at BPPK SMP really happened in 2014 until he was finally asked to vacate his house and land.

“Finally, this house is no longer my mother’s house, but changed to the name of the buyer. Even though this house was sold without my knowledge, even my signature was forged,” explained Ellen.

Grandma Ellen is not without effort, she has reported her step-grandson’s actions to the police. His efforts paid off, at that time IW was sentenced to two years in prison by the Bale Bandung District Court (PN) in 2017 because he was found guilty of committing an authentic deed crime.

“The case was rolling because at that time there were two cases, namely criminal and civil. Now for the crime, mother won, but the civil case continued to lose from the district court to the PK,” explained Ellen.

Grandma Ellen’s struggle to defend her property turned out to be draining her money. Even though the money was a provision from her late husband to spend his old age.

“Money has also run out, but I have also had to get out of this house several times. But there has been a postponement for the eviction and now I am trying to appeal again,” said Ellen.

It is hoped that his sad story will be heard by President Joko Widodo, Governor Ridwan Kamil, and West Bandung Regent Hengky Kurniawan in order to help him resolve this case. He wants to feel calm while spending his old age in the house that has been occupied since 1991.

“I beg Mr. President Jokowi, Governor Kang Emil, as well as the Regent of West Bandung to help with this case so that you don’t get kicked out of this house. I’m not asking for compensation, I just want this house to be yours again,” said Ellen.
