This is the Criteria for Employees to Get Rp. 600,000 Per Month from the Government

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government will provide Help Live Cash (BLT) for para the worker with certain categories. The plan, help cash it will begin to be realized in September 2020.

Chairperson of the Covid-19 Handling and National Economic Recovery Committee Erick Thohir said the assistance would be given to 13.8 million non-PNS workers BUMN. That is, the cash assistance is only given to private officials.

“The focus of government assistance this time is 13.8 million non-civil servant and SOE workers who are actively registered with the BPJS Employment with contributions below Rp 150,000 per month,” Erick said in his written statement on Thursday (6/8/2020).

The man who also serves as Minister of BUMN added that the criteria for private workers who received the assistance were those who had a salary below Rp. 5 million per month.

Later, the funds will be transferred directly to the workers who receive the assistance.

“Assistance of Rp. 600,000 per month for 4 months will be given directly every two months to each worker’s account so that there will be no abuse,” said Erick.

The former Inter Milan boss added that the government also paid attention to workers affected by the layoffs. However, assistance for this category is channeled into the Pre-Work Card program.

“The purpose of the government to pour out additional salary assistance is to encourage public consumption. This is important to drive the economy and encourage economic recovery, “he said.
