This Astronaut Is Sad To See Earth From Space, What’s Up?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – NASA astronaut Megan McArthur, who was on the International Space Station (ISS) voiced her sadness seeing the condition of Earth from space. What is it?

Megan McArthur expressed her sadness about the devastating fires that occurred in many places. Even some Forest fires large ones can be seen easily from space.

“We are very sad to see fires across much of the Earth, not just the United States,” said Megan McAthur in an interview with Insider and quoted from Futurism, Wednesday (18/8/2021).

“For years scientists around the world have been ringing this alarm bell,” says Megan McArthur. “This is a warning to the entire global community. It takes the entire global community to face this and overcome these challenges.”

Satellite images do show catastrophic forest fires in the form of clouds of smoke of astronomical proportions in many areas around the planet. From Siberia, Greece and Spain to the Pacific Northwest.

Turkey is said to have been hardest hit this year by the case of forest fires. Even the United States (US) struggles to recruit enough firefighters to tackle wildfires.
