The first images of “The Batman” are characterized by a series of violent and dark scenes with the song “Something in the way”, by Nirvana, background; and, in one passage, the “masked man” is seen saying the phrase: “I am revenge”.
According to the EFE agency, the director pointed out that for the film he was inspired by classics such as “Chinatown”, “Contact in France” and “Taxi Driver”.
The director also anticipated that the film will not show the origins of the character, but will focus on a “human” Batman who makes “mistakes” and grows from them.
On the other hand, he did not spare praise for the protagonist, whom he described as “an amazing actor” and “a chameleon”.
“He has the look of Batman, but most of all he has the soul of someone who can play Batman in a way that we haven’t seen before.”, he sentenced.
The premiere of “The Batman” is scheduled for October of next year and, among the actors who are part of the cast, include Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell and Andy Serkis.
