With the goal of raising 500 thousand pesos for the purchase of chemotherapies for women with breast cancer, the Red Nose organization started the “Miracle for women with cancer” campaign.
October is the month of awareness in the fight against breast cancer and the Pink Nose campaign is intended to raise resources to support women, since there are drugs with extremely high costs.
For example, Trastuzumab, with a cost of 40 thousand pesos, is a humanized monoclonal antibody similar to the antibodies that the body produces naturally to protect itself from infections by viruses and bacteria. There are treatments that require more than 10 vaccines.
For more than two years, the shortage of medicines, particularly chemotherapies, and although there is more talk about the affectation in children, adults also suffer as a result of this catastrophic disease, to which is added the fact that they cannot afford the drugs that could save your life.
They are very expensive drugs and for this reason a funding platform was opened where only 300 pesos have been collected.
