The Autonomous Municipal Government of Cochabamba together with the city council presented an acknowledgment to the doctor, Dunstan Espinoza, who is currently head of the Oncology Department in Chile for the work done for women, performing 14 free surgeries for breast-to-lower cancer income people.
As part of this delivery, the mayor, Manfred Reyes Villa, has assured that by December they will already have a mammogram in order to be able to diagnose women early, detect breast cancer and thus save lives.
“The main thing for management is health and education, that’s why we are working on it, through different campaigns and encouraging this type of surgery, helping the people who need it most. We thank Dr. Espinoza for the quality of the care he provided to our women in Cochabamba, ”said the mayor.
Espinoza, for his part, thanked the authorities for the recognition and took advantage of the space to comment on the importance of early and early diagnosis that women must carry out to avoid reaching unfortunate situations (Cochabamba, agencies).
