Meanwhile, the Secretary of Health in Baja California, Alonso Óscar Pérez Rico, reported a suspected case of coronavirus in a 28 year old patient in Mexicali, so they already took samples that were sent for analysis and probably tomorrow the results will be available.

According to the secretary, the patient is already isolated and receiving attention, after she presented symptoms similar to those caused by the coronavirus, such as headache and fever, in addition to that in the last 12 days she had been in Italy, country which is already included among the risk factors.

He explained that the patient had been in England, France, Germany, and Italy, then returned to Mexicali, and had another trip to Cancun, and when she returned to the capital of Baja California, she went to the health authorities at the airport when she felt discomfort

He said he was tested to see if he had the influenza virus, however, this was ruled out, so he proceeded to provide care, and isolate it for four days, at which time he has improved his health.
