The specialized prosecutor’s office and the CDCOC arrested 6 mutras who were collecting overdue receivables from a credit company. The leader of the power gang was a woman. They operated in the Sofia region.
The arrests are from Tuesday. During searches of several addresses and the car, mobile phones and SIM-cards, lists of names, addresses and amounts, bats were found and seized.
The group with a gender leader started operating in January 2019.
The victims of extortion are low-educated and low-income people. Some of them were forcibly forced to repay their credit obligations in full in advance.
