The Dreux rallycross, an unmissable event for motorsport in Eure-et-Loir, was held on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October, in Dreux. Penultimate round of the French specialty championship, rallycross has, as usual, reserved its share of surprises. To the delight of the 10,000 or so spectators present.

The zoo-refuge La Tanière has opened its doors in Nogent-le-Phaye

First scheduled for spring 2020, the opening of the park has been postponed due to the Covid-19 epidemic. La Tanière finally opened its doors on June 11 at 10 a.m. visitors of all ages were able to meet the surviving animals.

Several hundred walkers and runners took the start, at 2 p.m., of the 2021 edition of the Pink Strides, this Saturday, October 16. That is a total of 4,310 participants and a check worth € 27,174 was given to the Peps association for the fight against cancer.

Jacques Loire, former director of the workshops that bear his name, in Lèves, and master glassmaker with an international aura, died on June 29, at the age of 88. Born in 1932, in Chartres, he is the son of the founder of Ateliers Loire, Gabriel Loire.
