The workshops of the Théâtre à dire company return from June 14 to July 2 in the small hall of the Municipal Theater of Thionville. For more than two weeks, the company will offer shows around various themes, such as the station or business life. But also love, always.

On the program this summer on the boards: no less than a children’s show, a pre-teen-teen show and six adult shows. All directed by Mohamed Mouaffik, founder and director of the Thionvilloise Théâtre à dire company, and his assistant, actress Karine Turco. The themes sweep wide, ranging from telephones and computers that have become extensions of our bodies, the train station, a place of separations and reunions, a place of promises and disappointed hopes, corporate life where all shots are allowed, the couple, love, politics, commitment, poor housing, the media, or even education.
“Amateur theater is the most beautiful thing there is,” said Mohamed Mouaffik. “What is an amateur… A person who loves, cultivates, researches. And it is important to me, every year, to work with these artistic gardeners who give me their time and trust. More than thirty years that I play and direct without ever running out of steam. I hope to find a large audience to support the shows offered this year, ”continues the director.

Théâtre à dire is a professional theater company founded in 2005. Since its creation, it has set up several projects anchored in the heart of a committed and human theater. That’s to say, Women , On Glane et Deadly attack in Paris de Christian Rullier, Advice for a young bride by Marion Aubert False confidences spectacle of commedia dell’arte, Crossing burlesque mask show, body words performance associating the music of declaimed words and the movements of the body, or even Momotaro show for children.
In addition to artistic creations, the company is involved in several areas: reading and voice acting of various texts, intervention in schools (college, high school, social centers), creation and animation of theater workshops for the youngest and the not so young ( children, preteens, teenagers and adults), creation of small theatrical forms in atypical places. The company is financially supported by the City of Thionville and the Moselle departmental council.
