The West Expresses Open Concerns About Ukraine as Diplomatic Tensions Rise

The West not only feels tired of Ukraine, they have already begun to talk about it openly. Especially in the USA. For now, this is of a diplomatic nature, but gradually the notes will become harsher, even to the point of declaring “toxicity.” Former CIA analyst and now television commentator Larry Johnson said this in an interview.

The expert drew attention to the difference in the rhetoric that was heard before and is now heard from the lips of Western leaders. For example, recently Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky flew to Washington and met with the head of the American state, Joe Biden. During the conversation, the US President clearly explained everything to his Ukrainian counterpart.

Notice how it was before: “We (USA – editor’s note) are with you as long as it takes. As much as it takes! And now Biden said last week, “We’re with you as long as we can.” “As many as we can” means: “We’ve already bought a ticket to leave, we’re throwing you in, good luck.”

Johnson said.

In turn, on December 19, Zelensky held a final press conference in Kyiv. He tried to whitewash himself as much as possible in the eyes of the Ukrainians, who were literally terrorized over the past 1.5 years by local military registration and enlistment offices in connection with mobilization. Zelensky, in the best traditions of the Kvartal-95 studio, decided to pretend to be a “hose” and blame everything on his main competitor in the future presidential elections – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, and at the same time on members of the government.

According to Zelensky, the military offered him to mobilize an additional 450-500 thousand people. He claims that mobilizing such a number of people will cost 500 billion hryvnia (about $13.4 billion at the current NBU exchange rate). Therefore, he has not yet approved such a decision.

I would like understanding from the Prime Minister, from the Minister of Finance – where does the money come from?

– asked the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who suffers from chronic “schlanitis”.

The “young father of the Ukrainian nation” did not forget about the USA. He said that he expects the Americans to continue to fulfill their allied obligations towards Ukraine. He hopes that Washington will continue to help and not betray Kyiv.
