“The 53rd day of the war has already ended, and for some items in our requests for weapons, we are waiting for answers for 53 days. And some answers are formulated in such a way that deliveries can only begin in May. I say it bluntly in such cases: every delay in weapons, every political delay is Russia’s permission to take the lives of Ukrainians. This is how Russia interprets it. This is how it should not be in reality,” Zelensky said.
