From September 25 to 27, a special edition of the international auto industry exhibition “Auto 2020” will take place in Ķīpsala. Within the exhibition, the brand “Volkswagen“(VW) will present the new, 100% electric and carbon neutral” ID.3 1st Edition “car. This will be the first time in Latvia that the” ID.3 “model is available for wider viewing.

In addition to the “ID.3” model, the exhibition will feature a wide range of VW models, including the new Tiguan and the eighth generation Golf.
The “ID.3 1st” exclusive model is equipped with a 58 kWh battery with a single charge mileage of up to 420 km (WLTP). Its electric motor provides 150 kW (204 hp) and provides a maximum torque of 310 Nm. All ID.3 batteries have an eight-year or 160,000 km factory warranty.
The basic version of the “ID.3 1st” is already richly equipped, including front seat and steering wheel heating, fast charging with 100 kW direct current (DC) or 11 kW alternating current, natural voice control and “ID. Light” – “intelligent” system , which visually communicates with the driver and assists in the driving process as well as in the use of navigation. In addition, the ID.3 1st is an intelligent on-road assistant with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist, Frontal Collision Warning Assist, Parking Distance Control and Dynamic Road Sign Recognition System as standard.
During the exhibition, VW will present the “ID.3 1st Plus” version directly, which in addition to the powerful basic equipment is equipped with a rear view camera, keyless access and engine start system “Keyless Advanced”, “Matrix LED” headlights and dynamic LED headlights signal, as well as many other powerful features.
As previously reported, exclusive “ID.3 1st” cars for the Baltic market are already being delivered to owners, but pre-sale for “ID.3” series models will start in Latvia very soon.
“ID.3” and the first VW “ID.” a model family model that launches the brand’s mission to provide electromobility for everyone at an affordable price. This model also sets new sustainability standards: production is carbon neutral, which means that cars are delivered to customers without negative effects on the environment. VW has created the first cost-effective and affordable electric car that is environmentally friendly throughout its life cycle, as it does not emit CO2, both during production and operation, when the customer charges with environmentally friendly electricity.
The exhibition “Auto” is organized by the International Exhibition Company “BT 1”. To make participation in and attendance at the exhibition as safe as possible, BT 1 has introduced a number of security measures – separate entrances and exits, control of the number and flow of people, and increased disinfection of the premises.
