Jean Neonufa, member of the DPRD South Central Timor (TTS), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), was really cruel. The man visited an acquaintance’s house but did sexual harassment.
“Yes, it is true, (suspect) of sexual harassment. He touched women’s breasts,” said TTS Police Chief AKBP Andre Librian when contacted, Tuesday (4/5/2021).
In this case, the victim was a housewife with the initials DS in Soe City. The police are currently completing the case file.
Head of Public Relations NTT Regional Police Kombes Rishian Krisna said that in the near future, investigators will also send the first stage case file to the public prosecutor (JPU) for further examination.
The suspect has also been detained for the next 20 days since Monday (3/5) night for the purpose of investigating the case.
“The reason for the detention of the suspect is that two strong pieces of evidence have been pocketed,” said Kombes Krisna in Kupang as reported by Antara, Tuesday (4/5).
The police charged JN with Article 289 of the Criminal Code (KUHP), a subsidiary of Article 281 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, and was subject to the legal threat of 9 years in prison.

On last Sunday (11/4), JN visited DS’s house. At that time JN was drunk as a result of consuming alcoholic beverages.
