Dramatized monologue on the biography of the great playwright Valle-Inclán, comedy for serious things, reflection on religious beliefs or even a theater converted into a mountain in Patagonia. These are some of the coordinates that can be found in November and December in the Main Theaterthe first quarter of Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC) in Castellón, under the new direction of Sergio Arlandis (Director of Cutlrua of the Generalitat Valenciana). NOVEMBER

Saturday 18. Don Ramón María del Valle-Inclán, Through Ramón Gómez de la Serna, by Xavier Albertí. Dramatized monologue. 19:00 3/20 €.

A monologue set in Madrid in the 20th century, which, from the perspective of Ramón Gómez de la Serna, tells the life and works of Ramón María del Valle-Inclán. Gómez de la Serna, played by Pedro Casablancshows in this show the admiration he feels for his teacher, Valle-Inclán. The musical, which has the support of the pianist Mario Molinaalso reflects the despair of a town that has just lost a war and colonies, and is trying to rebuild itself after being completely desolated.

Large companies intrude into the privacy of their workers; This is the premise of Contractions. Candela Pena y Pilar Castro are the protagonists of this comedy play that deals with corporate interference and the challenges that workers must face in exchange for protecting their workplace. The story begins with a heated interrogation by a boss who tries to find out the love life of one of the employees in the sales section. A story written by Mike Bartlett and staging thanks to Producciones Come y Calla and the direction of Israel Solá.

Saturday 2. Uz: The People, by Gabriel Calderón. Comedy. 19:00. 3/20€.

Do religions have limits? Through black humor, Uz: the town invites us to reflect on religious beliefs that are taken to the extreme. December begins with a play that tells the story of a family from the town of Uz that is going through a difficult time. The protagonist, Grase, loses her job at the church and must find a way to feed her two children. This is one proposal by Natalia M Menéndez and produced by Spanish Theater and La Villarroel.

Wednesday 6. Free. Nino Bravo 100% to Capela, by Santigo Sánchez, Victor Lucas and Melomans. Musical. 19:00. 3/15€.

A show in honor of Nino Bravo. Edu Escartí, Gonzalo Manglano, Javi Reig and Pau Ferrer perform this musical completely a cappella with the aim of showing a tour of the life of Nino Bravo. It is a repertoire of songs and anecdotes that invite you to discover the most personal and fun side of the artist.

Saturday 9. Fitzroy: Four Women on the Border, by Jordi Galceran. Comedy 19:00 3/€20.

The Catalan production company Bitò and the director Sergi Belbel present Fitzroya comic work written by Jordi Galcerán that transforms a theater into a Patagonian mountain. Mountain climbing inside a theater. Four different lives that have more things in common than they think. Under the direction of Pau Carrió and the production by Sixto Paz and La Villarroel.

Thursday the 28th. The Lirondo World, by Ángel Calvente. Family work. 18:00. €4.
